Facilities, Parks, and Beaches

     hoopBub Avery Gymnasium- Located inside the Town Hall at 55 Main Street, in Center Ossipee. The gymnasium was named in honor of the late Bub Avery, a lifelong coach, and mentor to many in the community. The gym is host to many meetings including selectmen, budget committee, and planning board. The gym is also used for several recreation programs throughout the year as well as the Annual Breakfast with Santa Event! 

 

                                                   

   Duncan LakeCleveland Beach at Duncan Lake- The town's lone public beach is located at 8 Cleveland Beach Road (off Duncan Lake Road off Rte. 16). Cleveland Beach offers Changing Rooms, Picnic Tables, portable restrooms, and two charcoal grills. Cleveland Beach is the location of swim lessons offered through the Parks and Recreation Department. Lifeguards are typically on duty on weekends during the months of July and August. There is no launching of boats at this facility. Click here for a list of beach rules.  
 

 

Constitution Park  Constitution Park- This multi-use recreation area is located on Long Sands Road, off Rte. 25E, in Center Ossipee. Enjoy our tennis courts, pickleball courts, soccer field, softball diamond, dog park, walking trails, playground, and a 9-hole disc golf course. Constitution Park is a great place to play organized sports, pick up sports, or enjoy a nice walk around the complex. dog park Ossipee Dog Park-  The Ossipee Dog Park is located at Constitution Park, with an entrance off of Long Sands Road and Route 25E. This facility is maintained by a committee of local residents. The park features a large open area to play in with plenty of things to keep your dog busy. Dog waste bags are available at the park and there is a double gate entrance. pond  Mill Pond- Located on 5 Paddy Acre Lane (off Moultonville Road)
Center Ossipee. Mill Pond offers a public swimming area, a wooded dock, and a small pocket park that is a great area to read a book or have a picnic. Locals enjoy finishing at Mill Pond, which is home to the Annual Youth Fishing Derby run each year by the Ossipee Public Works Department. Although primarily considered a fishing spot for kids and senior citizens, the Mill Pond is open to all of those who wish to enjoy it. There is no area to launch watercraft at this facility. skate park  Skating Rink/Skate Park- Located next to the Town Hall at 55 Main Street in Center Ossipee this rink doubles as a skate park in the spring, summer, and fall months.  New England weather often makes it challenging to maintain the skating rink throughout the winter months. The goal is to have the rink open from Christmas Vacation week through February vacation week. Check the Ossipee Parks and Recreation Facebook Page for updates on the status of the Ice Rink. Y-Field  Y-Field- Located on Old Route 28 this park is home to a basketball court and a field that doubles as a full-sized baseball field and adult softball field. This field host many adult softball games throughout the spring and summer months. The Y-Field is nestled in a quiet part of the community and is a great place to bring your kids to practice on the fields or court. Click here for a full list of facility rules.
