The property tax year runs from April 1st to March 31st. Property taxes are based on the assessed value of your property as of April 1st of each tax year. The Town of Ossipee bill twice a year, 1st tax bill is mailed out the middle of May and due July 1st. The first tax bill is an estimated bill, based on half of the previous year’s tax unless there has been a change in the value. The second tax bill is mailed out after the Department of Revenue has set our tax rate. They are due at least 30 days after they are mailed out. If you would like to receive your tax bill by email please send in a request to our office or go to the Town’s Tax Kiosk.
Tax bills are sent to the last known owner and the last known mailing address. If you have a change in address, please contact the Assessing Office at (603) 539-4181. It is your responsibility, as the owner, to advise us of your current mailing address. If you do not receive your first half bill by June or your second half bill by November, please give us a call or check our Tax Kiosk.
Payments can be made in person, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, at 55 Main Street, Ctr. Ossipee, or through the mail at PO Box 67, Ctr. Ossipee, NH 03814. Please bring in your tax bill or put your map/lot number on your check. Please make checks payable to the Town of Ossipee. You may also make payment at the Town’s Tax Kiosk.
